This 2001 building has 2 units each with  2 bedrooms, 2 baths, Full Kitchen, Washer/Dryer, Screened Balcony.  Dine outside in a private patio, sunbathe in the fenced back yard or enjoy a short walk to the white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.  A carport is available. The master bedrooms have king-size beds. The guest bedrooms have two twin beds. Both units have AC, all bedrooms and the living rooms have ceiling fans. The large living/dining room has comfortable seating including a sleeper sofa. The furnishings and décor are "casual Florida".  Bed linens, beach towels, kitchen utensils, tableware, dishes, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, coffee-maker, TV, VCR, DVD & stereo w/ CD are provided.   Weber propane grill and DSL Broadband/Wireless internet available.

GETTING THERE:

You can fly into the Sarasota airport, which is about a 20 minutes from our house, or you can often find lower airfares to either Tampa or St. Petersburg, each about an hour away. Exit 220 from Interstate 75 feeds you onto Route 41 (Tamiami Trail) which leads you to Route 684.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:
For us, the greatest feature of our location is our proximity to the Beach. It is a lovely quiet beach, with calm waters for swimming and lots of space to spread out. Just bring a book and a beach chair (and maybe a beach umbrella), and relax in the sun.

You can drive to other nearby beaches: Coquina Beach, Siesta Key, Lido Key, Turtle Beach, Crescent Beach, Caspersen Beach, the longest beach in Sarasota County, and Venice Municipal beach, which has a coral reef a quarter mile offshore.

You have your choices of restaurants when you get hungry.   Try Sharkey's, The Beach House, Gulf Drive Cafe, The Banana Cabana, Oma's Pizza & Italian, Gulf View Diner or explore dozens of other local restaurants for some of the freshest seafood and friendliest service in the area.

Explore Sarasota to the south. Sarasota offers a full range of cultural attractions - theatre, opera, ballet, music concerts, galleries, fine and casual restaurants, water sports, and activities of all kinds. Drive south on Gulf of Mexico Drive to browse the shops on St. Armand's Circle, enjoy a relaxing dinner and people watching at Columbia Restaurant or one of the other great establishments on the circle. Visit famous Ringling Museum, set in John Ringling's mansion, or see a Cincinnati Reds spring training game.  

Busch Gardens (Tampa) is 1 hour north and Disney World (Orlando) is 2 hours to the northeast.

OTHER RENTAL DETAILS:

*  Check-in Time is 3PM.  Check-out time is 10AM.

* All rentals less than six (6) months are subject to Florida Sales Tax 6.5% and Manatee County Tourist Tax of 4%.  These amounts are in addition to the rental fee.

* Weekly/Monthly reservations require a $300 deposit. These will also serve as a damage deposit during your stay.  They will be refunded within 30 days of departure upon satisfactory inspection of the rental.  Any damages or excessive cleaning charges will be deducted from your deposit. 

* There is a $75 departure cleaning fee.

* Local phone calls are free, long distance calls can be made with a phone card.

* Sorry, No Smoking is permitted in our property.

* Sorry, No Pets are permitted in our property.
